Aims & Values

At Corpusty School we believe that our children should develop lively, enquiring minds and those skills and attitudes which will help them to continue learning throughout their lives. This will enable them to take their place in a multicultural society.

We are committed to providing high quality education. We work towards the education of the whole child as we regard childhood as a very special time to be enjoyed and valued in itself.

We will encourage the development of care and respect for each other and promote an awareness of cultural diversity which will challenge racist attitudes and prejudices of any kind.

We will ensure that all children in our care receive a full curriculum entitlement within the context of the National Curriculum and the agreed syllabus for Religious Education and that it is broadly based and relevant to the needs of each child.

We will ensure that all our children receive equal regard and equality of opportunity in learning.

We will provide opportunities for our children to become progressively more responsible for their learning and encourage them to develop personal awareness and self-discipline.

We will create a caring, happy environment for the children and staff, in keeping with good health and safety practices.
We will encourage our children to feel proud of themselves and of their achievements.

We are committed to partnership with parents and aim to develop and maintain good relationships with all our families and the wider community, for the benefit of the children.
