Having moved into Corpusty following retirement from working in the local NHS I feel privileged to serve the school as a co-opted Governor. I have lived in Corpusty for the last 10 years. My youngest child is at Corpusty, in Year 5, while my eldest has now left and is at Reepham High School. My husband and I made a conscious choice to move to Corpusty for the purpose of enrolling our children at Corpusty. I began volunteering at the school once my youngest started at Corpusty and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. This led me to enrol and pass my NVQ Level 2 Support Work in Schools certificate. I became employed at the school, as a teaching assistant, in 2014 and worked with years 1 and 2. I also worked as an MSA. I finished this position in 2016 as I also started with the breakfast club. In 2016 I also decided, through my working in the reception class, to continue to further my education and enrol on a degree course at Norwich college for Early Years and childhood studies. I am the Staff Governor on the Corpusty Governing Board.
