Welcome back to everyone after the half-term break.

In view of the current concerns about a stranger waiting around in the school vicinity, I would like to assure parents that the school is working closely with the Police to deal with the situation.  The person in question has been served a Police Information Notice.  This means that he can be arrested if he returns to the vicinity of the school.

The Police will hold a surgery in the school hall tomorrow (Friday 4^th November) between 3pm and 4pm so you can discuss your concerns.  In the meantime, should you wish to talk to the police, please dial 101 and ask to speak to Sgt Helen Howes.

The Police are coming in to do ‘Stranger Danger’ assemblies with the children, just to remind them how to keep safe.

Please don’t listen to rumour.  If you have worries, please come in and talk to me.  If you see something that worries you, please phone 101 and report it to the Police.

Now that winter is nearly upon us, can you please ensure that your child brings a warm coat to school.  We like to get them out however cold it is!

To ensure a smooth hand-over at the end of the day could KS1 parents, in particular, let teachers know if someone else is taking your child home.

If your child has an inhaler at school, could you please check it is still in date and ensure that it is labelled with your child’s name.
